[acrn-dev] ACRN-verified platforms with RDT/CAT support?

Hi Ahmed,

Unfortunately that platform (Kaby Lake processor) does not support RDT/CAT. From the list of HW that ACRN support, Apollo Lake (e.g. UP2 board) supports CAT at least.

I do not have newer HW at hand so I cannot check whether the Whiskey Lake platform supports this. And you're right, it's not easy to figure out which processor support this via ARK unfortunately.

Many of the ACRN engineers are located in China and they are on holiday this week, back next week. They may be able to tell you more about this.

Thanks!
Geoffroy

Subject: [acrn-dev] ACRN-verified platforms with RDT/CAT support?

Hello ACRN developers,

We would like to prototype ACRN cache segmentation features on one of its
hardware-verified platforms.

Unfortunately, from https://ark.intel.com, it's not clear which ACRN-verified
platforms has Intel RDT/CAT support, and which do not.

Does anyone know if the ACRN-verified NUC7i7DNHE board [*], with its i7-
8650U CPU, can have RDT/CAT features enabled?

Thanks a lot,

P.S. Please keep me in CC as I'm not registred in the mailing list.
