So far we haven’t tried NUC8 which is based on Coffee Lake. The last platform which ACRN has been verified is NUC7 (Kaby Lake).

Thanks for your interests to ACRN. We haven’t tried ACRN on laptop but the CPU we have validated is Apollo Lake (SoC) and Kaby Lake (Core). Yes we’re using NUC6CA (APL) and NUC7 (KBL) platform which is easier for debug than laptop.
We don’t have chance to try NUC8 yet, but which NUC8 model are you asking about? There’re 3 types of CPUs for NUC8. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_Unit_of_Computing
