I've managed to download the kernel as instructed, enable the required Ethernet driver, and compile the kernel.
Today when I wanted to test it, my board has died, for no particular reason.

I assume x2apic is working for you now since you can mount rootfs. Then you may treat the Ethernet driver issue just like it on the native Linux, for example, /lib/modules/ matches

For the Ethernet issue, ‘lspci -k’ to check if the device exists in SOS and how about the driver status?

Now I have the issue that Ethernet doesn't work (while it does in regular Clear Linux), so I can't download

One more thing you may try: add maxcpus=1 to acrn.conf options, so we can skip the SIPI issue and see how it goes.

Actually ACRN checks X2APIC capability and it goes panic w/o it. So the host CPUID must have X2APIC support.
