Re: ACRN hypervisor message: VMX ctrl 0x48b not fully enabled: request 0x18b but get 0x8b
Hi Jason,
Eventually I found out the culprit: After removing CONFIG_SERIAL_8250_PNP=y from kernel_config_uefi_sos I have the expected behavior.
Thanks,
Joe

@Geoffroy
Just confirmed, it is a bug. The vmexit info buffer handling just check the buffer size at the beginning.
It need check each time when add info into it.

Re: How to get out of 'vmexit'
Normally, you're in the HV console after you input command "vmexit", you can still input other commands.
On MRB it work well, just checked.

I think you're talking different things.
Vmexit command in "hypervisor console" is used to show the info/count which cause vmexit; it is used for debug.

Re: How to get out of 'vmexit'
That depends on how you trigger vm-exit.
Basically, VMM needs to advance the GIP to mark the end of execution of the guest instruction.
Thx Eddie
